FHS Neuroscience Club Approved as IYNA Chapter USA150

The Friendswood High School Neuroscience Club has been officially approved as a chapter of the International Youth Neuroscience Association (IYNA). The approval, confirmed by the IYNA Chapters Department on August 23, 2026, establishes our club as Chapter USA150.

A milestone for our student community

This recognition marks an important step in building a student community dedicated to exploring the brain and nervous system. It connects our school’s neuroscience initiative with a wider network of young people who share an interest in brain science.

The approval message welcomed the Friendswood chapter and expressed enthusiasm for the community and activities students will build at their school.

Learning, collaboration, and impact

As Chapter USA150, FHS Neuroscience Club will continue developing opportunities for neuroscience learning, Brain Bee preparation, student scientific writing, and community outreach. Our goal is to help members turn curiosity into shared knowledge, collaboration, and meaningful contributions beyond the classroom.
